Each year, a team of around 50 volunteers—people of all ages from all over the world—help co-create the Jewish Culture Festival. They are not afraid of hard work and bring a variety of skills that can be useful in all kinds of, sometimes surprising, situations. They are The Machers—the volunteers of the Jewish Culture Festival.

The festival is The Machers—without them, it would be difficult to carry out over 100 events during each edition, often happening simultaneously in different locations across Kazimierz. FKŻ volunteers come from various backgrounds, ages, and experiences. Yet, everyone finds their place here—regardless of their beliefs (or lack thereof), origins, or professions. Among The Machers, they find a home, respect, and fulfillment.

Would you like to be one of them? Or do you know someone who would like to help organize one of Kraków’s biggest cultural events?
