Several days of 2026 have already passed, so it’s high time we told you what we’re planning for this year – and it’s more than just another edition of FKŻ! Save these dates in your calendars and set reminders so you don’t miss a thing.

This is what our festival calendar for this year looks like:

  • February 23, 2026 – launch of volunteer recruitment for the international The Machers programme (long-term and short-term volunteers)

  • April 6, 2026 – announcement of the preliminary programme of the 35th Jewish Culture Festival

  • May 4, 2026 – start of ticket sales for concerts of the 35th JCF

  • June 8, 2026 – start of ticket sales for workshops and guided tours, and opening of reservations for accompanying events of the 35th JCF

  • June 8 – July 8, 2026 – international volunteer project The Machers

  • July 1–5, 202635th Jewish Culture Festival | Sha’ar / Gate

The second annual event organised by our Association is the March of Remembrance marking the anniversary of the liquidation of the Kraków Ghetto. This year, it will take place on Sunday, March 15, starting at 12:00 p.m., as always at Ghetto Heroes Square. As every year, our partners are the Chancellery of the Mayor of the City of Kraków and the Jewish Religious Community of Kraków.

All year round, we also look forward to welcoming you at Cheder — a restaurant serving delicious dishes inspired by Middle Eastern cuisines, as well as a year-round festival club and cultural hub in Kazimierz.

This year, we will be inviting you to Cheder for your much-loved Shabbat breakfasts with live music and a special menu; concerts from the Classics at Noon series and other musical events; workshops and meetings connected with Jewish holidays; and many more activities, which we will announce well in advance.

If you have an idea for your own original event, write to us — who knows, maybe we’ll help you bring it to life at Cheder. And if you’re thinking about volunteering abroad and are looking for a sending organisation, let us know as well — we have such opportunities!

Would you like to stay up to date with everything we have planned for you? It’s easy: sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of this page (we only write about important things — no spam), and keep an eye on our website and the social media channels of the Festival, Cheder, and The Machers — you’ll find the links below.

We would also like to ask for your financial support for the Jewish Culture Festival.

Each of you can become a patron of the Festival — even small donations help us better and more fully pursue our statutory goals: to offer you simply the best possible cultural and educational programme, through which you can experience authentic, living Jewish culture from Poland, Israel, and across the entire Diaspora.

Your donations help us continue our work, develop the programme, and ensure that the Festival remains open, accessible, and of the highest quality. Every contribution makes a real difference — thank you for supporting the Festival.

You can make a one-time online donation directly to our account. If you donate at least PLN 1,500, you will become our VIP guest at the events of the 35th Jewish Culture Festival. You can also purchase an honorary ticket for a selected concert or other event — including non-ticketed ones — and become its partner. With a minimum contribution of PLN 300, we guarantee you a seat in the VIP section and the opportunity to meet the artist.

See you in Kazimierz
