We are delighted that you will be joining us for the 35th Jewish Culture Festival in Kraków. Before your visit, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our participation guidelines. We want you and all other Festival participants to feel safe and informed about your rights and responsibilities during our events.

Please note in particular that our events are documented by Festival photographers. Photographs are used both on our social media channels and in reports prepared for our partners and sponsors. Some events (marked in the program and listed separately on our website) are also streamed live on our website and subsequently made available there and on YouTube without time restrictions. In accordance with the Festival regulations, participation in JCF events constitutes consent to the recording and publication of your image without the need for additional authorization.

Please do not bring large bags or luggage. Visitors carrying large backpacks, suitcases, or similar items will not be admitted to Festival events. We do not provide luggage storage facilities. There are, however, several luggage storage services available in Kazimierz where you may leave your belongings during the event.

All handbags and personal bags will be subject to security inspection upon entry. Dangerous items, liquids (except sealed bottled water), sprays, sharp tools, weapons, and similar objects are strictly prohibited.

In accordance with the Festival regulations, any person disrupting an event or preventing others from participating comfortably may be removed by the event security team. In particularly serious situations, we reserve the right to call the police or other public safety services.

The Festival  Tent and the Tempel Synagogue are fully accessible to persons with disabilities. Access to the High Synagogue, Hevre +1, and the cloisters of St. Catherine’s Church is also possible with assistance, which we are happy to provide.

If your participation in Festival events requires assistance or special accommodations, please contact us in advance at office@jewishfestival.pl. We provide designated seating areas for persons with disabilities and can arrange volunteer assistance from your means of transportation to the event venue. Personal assistants and caregivers accompanying persons with disabilities are admitted free of charge, provided that their attendance is registered in advance via the email address above.

We encourage you to travel to Festival events by public transportation. The nearest tram stops are Miodowa, Wawrzyńca, Plac Wolnica, and Stradom. Please check current tram routes before traveling, as they may change due to ongoing track maintenance and traffic conditions.

Please remember that both the Tempel Synagogue and St. Catherine’s Church are active places of worship. We kindly ask that you respect these spaces by dressing appropriately. Men are requested to cover their heads when entering the synagogue and when visiting Jewish cemeteries.
