The visual identity of this year’s edition grows directly out of the idea of שָׁעַר — the Gate

The central visual motif of this year’s edition combines the outline of a gate with the Hebrew letter ח — Khet, the first letter of the word haim (Hebrew: חיים), meaning “life.” Within this simple geometric form, two dimensions converge: the architectural and the symbolic. The gate becomes not only a shape, but also a metaphor for openness, safety, and community.

The minimalist visual language of the identity allows attention to remain focused on what matters most: the invitation to enter, to meet, and to celebrate Jewish life together. The Festival Gate does not exist solely within the space of the city — it is created by the people who cross its threshold each year.
