June 30, 2024 was the last day of the 33rd edition of the Jewish Culture Festival. We invited you to the world of Jewish mysticism and spirituality. We will continue these themes in future editions, and now it’s time for a small summary of what happened this year.
The 176 events of the 33rd Jewish Culture Festival included:

– 25 tours
– 24 workshops

80 accompanying events, organized by the JCC Krakow, the Galicia Jewish Museum and the Or Hadash Association of Progressive Jews
We invited 87 artists – from Poland, Israel, USA, Germany, Turkey, and in the preparation and implementation of the 33rd FKŻ we were assisted by 47 volunteers – from France, Germany, Israel, Ukraine, Moldova, Spain, Czech Republic, Nigeria, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Italy, USA and Poland, including 4 senior volunteers and – for the second time – two long-term volunteers who spent 4 months in Krakow.
You can find a detailed report of this year’s edition on the website of the 33rd FKŻ or in the PDF file. If you would like to know the detailed program, including descriptions of the events – please visit the Program tab, and in the Transmissions tab you will find recordings of concerts and lectures.
We were extremely pleased to once again host you in Kazimierz. We heard from many of you that the atmosphere of this year’s FKŻ was special, you could feel a stronger bond, a lot of positive energy and … love, which was also one of the themes of the 33rd festival.
How big was this year’s audience?
Our calculations (ticket sales, entrance cards, badges, VIP lanes, number of people counted during free events) show that there were almost 12,000 of you at the 33rd FKŻ – that’s less than last year, but let’s remember that this year there was no Shalom on Szeroka Street concert, which itself gathers an audience of more than 15,000. In addition, live broadcasts of events during the 33rd FKŻ were watched by 12,803 people, bringing our total to almost 25,000!
