The State of Preservation and the Situation of Synagogues After World War II (PL)

The lecture will focus on the fate of synagogues after World War II, as well as the changes that occurred in terms of their state of preservation and presence in cities and smaller towns. It will also provide an opportunity to reflect on the significance of synagogues in the cultural landscape and on ways to commemorate Jewish communal sites that no longer exist.
