“Polin. Studies in Polish Jewry” is an annual journal that has been published since 1986 presenting the latest research on Polish Jews. The latest volume focuses on gender and the body in the history of Central and Eastern European Jews. We would like to invite you to a meeting, during which Prof. Eugenia Prokop-Janiec, Dr. Zuzanna Kołodziejska Smagała, and Dr. Marek Tuszewicki will present their articles. During the second part of the event, a discussion will be held about research methodologies on Jewish corporeality and the development of this research in recent years.
This is an accompanying event organized by the Galicia Jewish Museum in cooperation with the Institute of Jewish Studies of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków.
