We are currently witnessing a deepening of divisions, a return to traditional attitudes of superiority, and a brutal policy of force. This is happening everywhere, including in Poland and Israel. For some, this signifies the collapse of the ideals of dialogue.
For Stanisław Krajewski and his interlocutors, this highlights the need to identify within their own religious traditions those resources that enable constructive coexistence, fraternal dialogue and human friendship. Moreover, Christian-Jewish relations are a matter of millennia; passing trends should not destroy their deeper meaning.
Well-known figures in Kraków – Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś and Rabbi Boaz Pash – will present their reflections.
The meeting will be chaired by Professor Stanisław Krajewski.
