Compositions by Ola Bilińska to poems by Yiddish women poets from the anthology “My Wild Goat” (Moja Dzika Koza).
The pieces in this new program revolve around themes of the body, womanhood, and memory. In addition to classical instruments, the arrangements feature electronic and Eastern instruments, including those used in meditation. Thus, various worlds and eras meet on stage: past and present, East and West, as well as classical, contemporary, and ethnic music.
