Between Criticism and Prejudice: New Forms of Antisemitism (PL)

This debate will focus on contemporary manifestations of antisemitism and the challenges involved in identifying and combating them. The invited speakers will seek to answer the question of how antisemitism functions today in the public sphere, the media, social discourse, and culture, and where the line lies between legitimate criticism and hate speech or prejudice. The discussion will also address the topics of historical memory, responsibility for one’s words, and the impact of the current political situation on perceptions of Jewish communities in Poland and around the world.
During the second part of the event, members of the audience will have the opportunity to join the discussion by asking questions and sharing their reflections.
